McCarthy was also hopeful Neal would be able to play this week even with sitting out Wednesday’s exercise.
“We had a very constructive report on Mike this morning, but we’ll see how the guy responds,” McCarthy explained. “There’s certain things they’re asking him or her to do in the therapy that he’s not able to undertake yet to get for the field. That’s obviously why he didn’t practice right now, so we’re getting Jarius (Wynn) together with C.J. (Wilson) geared up.”
